Poste Italiane obtains the "Equal-Salary" certification for equal pay policies

Poste Italiane is the first company in the Ftse Mib insurance sector and the largest company by number of employees in Italy to receive the "Equal-Salary" certification for the rigorous application of remuneration policies without gender bias.

The certification demonstrates Poste Italiane's commitment to creating an inclusive working environment and a corporate culture based on respect and equal opportunities in career paths.

The certification, issued by "Equal-Salary", an independent Swiss non-profit organization, was developed in collaboration with the University of Geneva, respecting international standards and best practices and allows companies to verify and make public the remuneration equity, for the same job, within the company organization.

The recognition was conferred on November 28th at the end of a process, based on a rigorous methodology recognized by the European Commission, and with the support of PwC Italia, and involved a detailed analysis of the salary levels of the entire company population, focus groups, interviews and survey on employee perception of the company's commitment to inclusion and diversity. A study of human resource management and development policies was also carried out.

The EQUAL-SALARY certification is valid for 3 years, during which, the company undergoes two monitoring audits. After 3 years, if the organization wants to keep its label, it needs to renew the certification process with a new salary analysis and a full on-site audit.
